Good Samaritans
Well today i made a really big mistake. I was in such a hurry to get to the library early to print a paper before class, that i forgot to turn off my lights. When i went to leave (and i was pretty much exhausted and dont feel well) my battery was dead. So not having much choice and having an empty parking space infront of me, decided to try and pushstart it myself. I got out of the car and started pushing, not exactly sure how i would get it going fast enough by myself, but i couldnt get ahold of any of my friends. As i started some guy ive never met before, asked me if i needed help. So he pushed and i tried popping the clutch but it didnt work. As we tried someone drove by and suggested we try it in 4 Low to get it to start easier. Then another guy drove buy and said he use to have to push start his alot and he'd give us a hand. So this other guy who i have no clue who he was either, stopped and helped push. We got the Jeep into the main isle so we could get a better speed going. Then another guy came and helped push. So the moral of the story is #1 dont leave your lights on, and #2 there are some pretty nice ppl out there. The one thing i will never get though is there is no warning for when the lights are left on, but the car is off. However, when the battery was dead and the key was in the igniton it would beep like crazy... id really like to meet the guy who invented that...
